>>9957431I like the ordeal of fire heroes more than the savage planet ones from 2011, their minimalistic style goes well with early CCBS, they have a similar feel to the Toa Metru for some reason, but they're still too simplistic in comparison with later hero sets. The enemies sucked though.
The second wave heroes looked goofy, mostly because of the animal helmets, I feel like they ruined the vibe the first wave heroes had, but I liked the larger sets.
2012 was my favourite year of hero factory, I liked the new pieces and how much personality they gave both the heroes and the villains. When I saw Rocka I immediately wanted to get him.
I liked 2013 mostly because of the pieces, I like to use that torso shell in MOCs a lot. The villains sucked, I liked some of the heroes. I only gut Furno though, then I lost interest in Lego in general for some reason around 2013-2014 until those Bionicle G2 pics leaked.
