Again, you're choosing a single panel saying that's proof enough when the rest of the page shows it being colored correctly. That's one panel out of 3-7 panels per page, out of a 22 page comic, for decades of comics and artists writing/drawing him where the pink part is flat against his mouth.
Here's a good page illustrating how his mask works. Again, completely flat, except when he's SHOUTING. Note how far forward the teeth was extended out to actual become 3d, with the pink still making up the majority of the mouth.
There's only depth in a single panel and that's when hes' screaming, again, showing how the costume works. It's only in extreme cases where the mouth actually sorta kinda becomes a mouth.

And again, i've said since the last thread that i have no beef with an open or closed mouth, because that's how he's been drawn.
Still, the vast majority of the time the mask is shown to be just flat. It's the same effect with the black streaks in his costume, which is supposed to be a 2d lava lamp look to show how unstable Cletus is. It's a neat theme Bagley designed for Carnage and you guys don't notice/care because you're just shitposters or toy brand warriors.
