>>6607288Let us know how it works out, anon! May help folks who run into the same problem in the future.
Looking forward to your Acguy pics!
>>6607760Nice! Grats, anon! And yeah, DX Chogokins can definitely take up some space on your shelf, particularly when displayed in the superior gerwalk mode, haha.
>>6608300Frankly, it's superb. Everything about it is excellent, from its fantastic paint job to the detail of its sculpt. Furthermore, despite its premium finish, it doesn't feel fragile or delicate in-hand at all, thanks in part to the substantial heft of all the diecast plus very smooth, strong joints. Range of motion is excellent and the awesome accessories are similarly as detailed and fantastically finished as the 00 itself.
Metal Builds are generally around 1/100 scale, and the 00 stands about 7-7.25" to the top of its head. I think if you love the 00's design, the $250 is actually worth it. It's steep for a single, non-transformable mecha toy, but it's really hard to describe just how dang nice it is until you get it in-hand.
You may want to consider grabbing it on ebay, though (if you're i the US). It's readily available at $250 and there's even one listing selling it for just $230. Furthermore, if you wait for an ebay flash sale ($15 off a $75 purchase, happens like every other month and there's sure to be one during the holidays) you'll save even more.
