If you want to buy a vintage model, you can get official replicas at Target and Gamestop, but if you want the authentic originals, you can get them fairly cheap nowadays through third-party sellers like JapanYouWant or Tamagotchi selling/trading groups (higher price if brand new in packaging, obviously).
Be careful with eBay though, shit on there gets overpriced by people WAY overestimating their worth (and scalping with the new models).
