Base green roughly done. Apologies for the shitty lighting, it's already October so by the time I get home it's already dark, so I have to spray at a desk lamp. I check in the morning, in sunlight whether there are parts that aren't properly coated yet.
Still need to spray all the wheel, which for the complex T-55/62 style road-wheels is a real bitch. Also I think I'll paint the small stuff like the headlights, headlight guard, DShK ammo boxes and whatnot by hand, it'll blend in with the sprayed parts after varnish and weathering etc. anyway.
After that I'm going to do a hint of modulating to the top of the tank, filtering with oil paints, paint some light wear and tear, some light panel washing, everything I'm trying to do lightly, as I'm going for a tank that's in its prime of service in the Soviet Army. So the final finish will be satin.
This will be my first completed model in a long time. Any ideas, suggestions, roasting?
