It smells like Chinese plastic when you get it out of the package, like one of those shitty off brand prize figures. The smell quickly goes away though.
The only other issue as far as I can tell is that there's excess plastic here and there around the seams but after a few scrapes with an exacto knife it's impossible to tell.
All the joints are sturdy and it even arrived in a brown shipper box with tamashii logos on it.
Would strongly recommend for those that missed out on the original
