>>9972307Model shows, literally models shows are the only place I know for a fact they sell kits for moderate to dirt cheap compared to eBay, plus you don't have to deal with the bidding. They are basically flea markets and you can haggle for prices. There are always OOP/rare kits there for subjects you are interested in. Though I do heavily, and I mean heavily suggest you should research about different kit manufacturers and the like so you have an idea of what you're buying. I bought pic related for like $12 dollars because the guy was selling his grandpa's stash which was mostly B-26's and didn't know if the kit was complete. I was lucky it was and had 2 extra decal sheets and I also bought from him the corresponding Eduard PE and metal landing gear legs for an extra $12, so $24 for a kit and aftermarket when the base kit itself is usually more than $50. A cool fact is that his grandfather was actually part of the B-26 design team and had some of the original blueprints but didn't bring them to the show. But yeah model shows are the only place I know where you will double, triple or in my case quadruple your stash from what it was in a short period of time. I have about 180+ kits and there's another model show in three weeks and I'm definitely going
