K Line O scale FM Trainmaster. In the early 2000s K Line had a line of relatively inexpensive scale three rail O engines. The idea was to offer an alternative to scale Lionel of MTH offerings. This one was offered in three levels of control. The base version here has a simple solid state reversing unit with no sound and retailed for $100. It featured fine details like photoetched metal screens and seperate radiator cooling fans. The next tier up had Railsounds for about $200 and the $300 version had full Command Control, Railsounds and I think the little radiator fans were even motorized.
