Platz's P-51D is very detailed for a 2005 tooling (if it were made today, it would basically be a shrunken down Airfix 1:72 P-51D, because the exaggerated details will be more excusable for 1:144), so it has to be easier to work with than the old Crown kit from 1973 (it's being reboxed by Minecraft to this day).
