>>9544361I can't find a better resolution of the the unmasked prototype, but to me it had a hint of a certain Casey Jones from the original Mirage comics: an issue where the turtles and Casey went to different planet or dimension that was very much inspired by the Rat Fink art style, and they were driving Casey's classic muscle car, and any human in that dimension/planet became grotesque Rat Fink art style character. The turtles realized something was off with Casey and decided to take off his mask and he looked distorted and crazy, and to me looked a bit like that prototype unmasked head. They decided the sooner they get out of there, the sooner Casey gets back to normal. It might have been Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Gonna keep searching for that issue and a better resolution of playmates unmasked Casey...
