>>6873160A better question is what is IF going to do now? They pretty much copy designs from IDW, but guess what, now IDW's continuity is ending. So that means new designs once again. And chances are the reboot designs are once again going to be G1 based or Evergreen based, which is just G1 based, so we'll have designs based off someone basing designs off G1. Of course, IF does have a lot of IDW stuff they could easily still use to pump out figures for years to come, given how long the IDW continuity has run for. But without IDW designs floating around to keep people hyped, will it still sell?
MMC and GC I guess are in the same boat really. All based off IDW designs, though they take more liberties with it.
