>Dead in the water editionThat's a slightly misleading op pic but whatever.
Meant to finish the ma.k suit last weekend as it's slightly halloween themed but only did the nozzles (pic related) and then fucked around with some parts.
About the heat staining it ended bigger than I wanted but with my current airbrush I can't do more refined gradients and didn't feel like hand brushing but they look really cool on. Honestly is incredibly easy to do and looks pretty cool, from a chrome base I added "jet exhaust" (burnt iron with some metallics mixed) and then glazes with blue, purple and brass. I should have used gold as brass is too bright and clean looking, I also tried yellow ink but it was like a wacky matt yellow candy coat finish.
I would like to try this but with tamiya clear paint on top of a titanium base as it would look better or more like a competition exhaust, and of course much cooler.
>>6602789Breddy gud so far but rails look like they are going to be a bitch to put. That's one of the things that kept me away from doing ships along the amount of aftermarket/dosh you need to put.
