I got the Thing on the left here coming soon, and I'm really not a fan of the paintjob, from the weird overspray in only a few areas, to how light it is overall. I want to drybrush it, and maybe have it look a bit darker. Do you think it'd be a good choice to paint it over with a slightly darker orange first, just to even everything out and remove the overspray, and then do a dry brush? Or would the dry brush alone be good enough? And it's a bit of a sticking point it seems, but what colour would you suggest the drybrush be? Is black ok, or another colour?
