What's /toy/'s opinion on the likes of Schleich and Papo? I got this cute little scorpion for £5 at a garden centre, and it's actually really nice. The other things they had were pretty sweet too (especially the dinosaurs, knights and monsters)- I reckon with some painting up and sufficient scratchbuilding skills you could make a really cool diorama with them, like old-school Warhammer scenes except bigger.
