With the brown hopper broken up so I could remove the IR receiver, I went and rebuilt it into a coal wagon similar to another build I had done to use as a motor unit if I wanted to make something run on 9V track. I'm planning on making another one of these in Dark Red, which should look pretty nice with a load of iron or scrap or something.
