Now if they hijack an already popular, and well established iconic Disney character like Ariel more people would be inclined to go see a black princess movie because of brand recognition and nostalgia.

Melissa Mccarthy isn't glamorous enough to play the divine, and larger than life character of Ursula. She isn't sassy, and god knows she isn't funny. Her Ursula merch will be as generic, and soulless as her Ghostbusters 2016 action figures.
