>>10589715>The closest thing G.I. Joe has is the original live action movie and Sigma Six.You zoomers don't realize that GI-Joe DID have a major brand upheaval in the 90's. Twice!
First was Sgt. Savage, which were slightly bigger 4 inch Joe figures with a heavy WWII motif. It flopped horribly. Second was GI-Joe EXTREME!!! which had bigger figures with less articulation and plenty of 90's 'tude. It was also a flop, but it did have a short cartoon and lasted a bit longer on shelves. Funny thing was that it had a RAH roster style of heroes/villains, but none of the original RAH characters. Only sideways equivalents, like the martial arts guy on the team was "Black Dragon" instead of "Snake Eyes." The bad guys were called "Klaw" instead of "Cobra". Etc.
And through all of this in the 90's to early 00's was the 12" GI-Joe line which was always great for the time, catering to both old & new fans. Shame the line got too expensive to sell at retail that Hasbro pulled the plug on it.
