>>10396739I'd assume the problem would be putting effort into releases that weren't international. Of the Plus/Connection era Tamagotchi, only 2 were international, the V1 (Kaettekita Plus) and V5 (Famitama), the rest, while being inspired by Japanese releases, tended to be very different in gameplay.
If they were to do a rerelease, I'd hope for Bandai to go the Digimon route and add more to them. The Ver 20th Digimon vpets combined everything from V1-V5 and then some, so a Connection with the roster of the V1-V4.5 + JP counterparts would be neat, although I'm not sure how 5/6/Tama-go would work since they're pretty different gameplay-wise.
They could also just go the single version but colored route like they did with the 25th anniversary Digimon.
In any case, just rereleasing them without any upgrades wouldn't hurt either even if it's not too exciting, considering how overpriced the Connections are now.
