Taking another cue from Kshatriya, I'm also gonna guess that there are gonna be either plastic rods or effect parts that you can plug directly into the funnel ports, so it looks like the funnels are launching out of the binder.
And yea! I was so surprised to read in the last thread the MRD didn't have funnel effect parts. They're pretty simple and hardly take up any space, it's a pretty glaring omission and/or attempt to get people to buy both the MRD and regular RD, heh.
