I skipped on the original Old One mold, but I just couldn't resist the color scheme on this one - and I'm glad I didn't. But first, before jumping into the actual toy review, I want to show off the box; normally, I don't find the actual packaging the Beast Boxes/Mega Boxes come in to be all that remarkable, but as a Limited Edition figure, Deep Purple's case is pretty unique looking. The entire front is designed to look like a zoomed-in image of its box form, with the entire middle part actually being a lift-up flap that hides the window showing off Deep Purple itself.
