>>9593411Eh it's still Chinese factories that needs to do everything I believe. They got all the expertise and facilities. Kaiyodo's Kouchi factory can only do simple stuff like soft vinyl figures. Bandai is the only one(?) with the crazy gunpla factory in Japan. This goes for all molds, but not really one time expense either. You have to pay property tax on those things apparently. Not sure how they quantify them, like models need more molds usually so you pay more tax? Anyways Kaiyodo won't make anything but the single color, must paint yourself kits because they want them to be for the hardcore collectors. But I think hey also distribute kits from a Chinese company too?? There were some mecha girl kits and I think I saw them with Kaiyodo in the description somewhere. No clue what their deal is.
This kit though doesn't look so bad.
