I used to buy just the figures I wanted the most already opened 2nd hand so I never cared about the odds. I had read some people complain about buying several bags and getting repeats and I thought "typical people complaining that they miss a 99% shot in XCOM", but then last year I bought four blind bags that were on clearance at the official Playmobil store and indeed I got four of the same figure, like they were not correctly shuffled.
Now I'm worried of buying several again. I think regular retail boxes of blind bags are correctly mixed? Like I seem to recall soome claim that you were guaranteed the full set if you got the whole box or maybe I'm mixing it with other brand. Any ideas to make safe purchases, other than spreading them in time and space?
