I actually like his goofy alt. mode, it makes me think of what a truck would look like in Back to the Future's 2015, or something from an '80s anime set in 2010 or something. I also prefer his proportions and stylization so he actually has some personality to himself beyond just being Masterpiece Jr. And I legit prefer the transforming axe-shield to having a trailer and whatever else the new one has. Only thing I don't really like is the backpack, but eh.
I don't like the stains on the regular one, but I woud legit buy the cel shaded one if I could stomach going into a Wal-Mart and found him on clearance or something.
>>7841162That's a render, and there were a number of changes between the renders and the physical ones we saw at NYCC, mostly just coloring stuff, like Prime's hands, or Wheeljack's green shin stripe. Someone from Hasbro allegedly said that the renders were incorrect, and the versions on display were more indicative of the final product.
