I hit up Lowe's, got some small o-rings and a length of tube for $5 and change total to see what I could do about improving the scrawny hip joints. Found the ball joints will not come off at all, I think the inner tubes of the thighs are die cast as well as the hip balls so... I took 2 of the small o-rings, cut them and fit them around the joints. I'd prefer to fit on uncut ones but those legs will not pop off no matter what I do.
