October Toys got the license to manufacture new toys based on the cartoon, so George Gaspar sculpted the skeletons to look *just* like the art dept style sheet, including all of the anatomical inaccuracies. The pelvis is especially weird-looking, but it is true-to-the-cartoon.
They planned/hoped/wished that they could continue the line, but last year's failed Grimskull Kickstarter revealed exactly how many diehard cartoon fans wanted action figures to be made of specific characters. Not enough people to raise $50,000 *per character", so they've been in limbo for over a year.
