So I got Hi-Res Red Astray for Christmas. It's my first 1/100 scale kit and I finally around to getting it all together. It didn't actually take me much longer than a normal hg would, which I'm assuming is mostly because of the fully built figure the kit uses. I'm a little surprised, I thought it would be bigger, unless Astray is one of the smaller gundams. All the joints are still pretty stiff, I'm actually scared of moving the head around because it sticks so much. Don't really know what decals I'm gonna put on it. Probably a few of the red lined ones for the white parts, but I don't really like the shoulder prints.
I might have to get some other master grade kits, if this kit is representative of their size, they're not quite as big as I was expecting. Size was always the reason that I shied away from 1/100 scale, but I might just be able to make some room for some suits that I really like. I'll just stay away from Nu and Sazabi. I don't think I'd ever have enough room to fit either of them.
