As a collector of both lines (SAS and SHF DB), I'm confused as how you came to this conclusion. Don't get me wrong, I like them both for different reasons, but SAS is in a different league looks-wise. The sculpts are finely detailed, they're fully painted, there are a ton of intricate paint apps, soft shading, different paint finishes from matte to metallic gloss to pearlescent, etc. Dragonball SHFs are often largely unpainted plastic, sometimes even without a topcoat so it's just bare semi-gloss plastic you're seeing (this is actually a problem I have with many SHFs, not just the DB ones). The paint apps do what they need to, but they're rarely impressive or beautiful to look at. They're just there. And while it's not the FAULT of the Dragonball SHFs, cause they are playing to a very different style, they're just...simpler designs. They have less visual variety and diversity than JoJo SASes.
I just don't get what you see there.
