Mine's still tight, I used a plastic insert to stop the ratchets from clicking together, it can't hold its weight if put horizontally but if I buckle the legs it holds fine, and this way I can reverse the changes if need be, need to work out which batch its from so I can see if its safe to reverse or continue with my "friction" mod
