I'd assume a niche general like this one would be familiar with the history of their niche, so I have a question about a potential collectible:
I have a tube and cardboard box worth of this Sta-Lox toy that's been in my possession for probably going on fifteen years now. I fiddled with it as a kid, then put it in my mom's basement (cool and dry) since then. She handed it to me during spring cleaning a few years ago, now that I'm doing spring cleaning I'd like to get rid of it.
My question is: does anyone know any of the history behind this stuff? I vaguely remember recalling that it's older than Lego by maybe a few years. I can post more pics if you want.
