>>8542044The stripes on the side were mostly painted over just before she left for the Atlantic, you can see the white spots by the waterline where they didn't quite bother to go all the way. The swastika may likewise have been painted over, there's apparently some debate ongoing there. All in all it seems someone thought I highly distinctive paint job may not have been the best thing when trying to slip past the Royal navy unnoticed. (Not that this helped with the Swedish navy around...)
