Had a look around but couldn't find any Lewis gun looking gun in the OT that wasn't the T-21.
They already did a T-21 blaster in the Rouge One trooper figure. So maybe they just made a mistake or wanted to include a different gun with this version - and just straight up made an action figure version of the actual Lewis gun that the T-21 was based on.
