Most shit was Kenner quality or worse.
There's a reason why Revoltech stood out and started the trend for lines for super articulated toys in Japan. Before REvoltech, Kaiyodo had really really bizarrely poseable toys that were almost nothing but cut joints that could only do one pose without looking weird (almost like most Revoltechs today that require camera angles to hide ugly cuts, floating limbs, and hollow ends).
