Got my ninjas today. My expectation is so low that I am pleasantly surprised they don't turn out to be as gigantic of a dumpster fire that everyone made it out to be. Inspected a couple of them, they do have some severe QC issues one of them being the foot cleaved into the ankle disc joint, severely deforming the figure. Sorry if the picture is not clear, I had lots of daylight in my workroom and don't usually take pictures until dark. There are couple of spots on the sculpt severely missing some paint details, especially on the boundary between fleshtone and the masks. Thankfully I am spared from leper arm and googly eyes.
I don't know what kind of Stockholm Syndrome it is, these figures aren't that great but I'm grateful because they could've been so much worse from what I heard. The accessories are nice, and the articulation is nothing special but good enough. My hero figures need some fodder to slice dice and punch around and these ninjas fit perfectly. I think I'm sort of glad that I got them rather than not, despite paying a bit more than what these guys are worth compared to the current Legends and other figures on the market. I dodged the bullet by avoiding the samurais and all the fully painted face figures though so I'm also glad that I didn't go in balls deep onto this line
