This meant huge changes to both the Take-n-Play and Wooden Railway line. TnP became Adventures, removed the magnets and just made the toys look worse. Wooden Railway became Wood, which cuts costs by removing all the visual flare Wooden Railway was famous for in favor of playability, WHILE ALSO completely changing the fucking track system.
Spoilers: parents bought the cheaper alternative track that was compatible with their original Wooden Railways products and didn't feel obligated to buy any of the redesigned toys. And Mattel still can't seem to grasp what the fuck went wrong.
