>>8906530I'm not going to greentext reply to a troll who just calls everything/one he don't like "stupid", but I'll still respond cause I'm bored and too lazy to do anything productive!
If the 4H were so lazy, wouldn't it be less work to not sell these left over figures at all instead of running a sale every week? Or are they just desperate for money...despite the three highly successful pre-order sales they just had nearly back to back to back?
Hasbro Pulse was a thing long before Coronoa and Mattel was selling SDCC stuff online before that as well. Again, I was at the '19 SDCC and pretty much everything they had for sale there was up on Pulse a few days later. Con exclusives will still get made, both for advertising purposes, and because it lets toy makers have a little fun (gay prince Adam anyone?), but them being "impossible to get", at least from the big companies, is a passing fad.
And again, the 4H stopped doing actual exclusives because of the Valgard incident and the fact they actually WANT people to get their stuff.
I won't argue with you about people whining about conventions. That's just some old man "back in my day" bull crap.
>>8906587It was a few random Mythic Legion pieces, I think it was just two specific figures in a two pack set or something. It was nothing special, kind of overpriced and I already had one of the figures so I wasn't interested, but still it was neat to see em in the wild.
As for Powerlords, the line never really stood a chance. Middling name recognition and a change in scale really killed any hope for that line. I won't claim they didn't advertise it like other anons here will cry about (hell all they talked about for a while was Powerlords) but you could tell they didn't give it the same push as their home grown brand, which to an extent is understandable.
