I was thinking they would stay together hinged at the hand though and just make some kinda.. butterfly-ish wings? because that kind of 2x2 stack sits more nicely in back without messing up the silhouette. but the longer I think about it, I'm not sure that would work at all. like what, are the rear portions of wing membrane just going to fold over each other? is the entire shoulder going to come loose from the body?
