Pic-related is what I'm counting as the haul for my Christmas! Only thing I'm missing was a Medicom RAH Neo Evangelion 13, was gonna be my big gift to myself; but got pushed back to January sadly. So gonna be counted as a Birthday gift if doesn't get pushed back again.
Sideshow 1/6 Clone Commander Wolffe is a an holy grail inheritance from a incredible friend that passed near the end of the Nov(slow-as-molasses FedEx really ruined a goodbye moment...), and the Leatherman multi-tool was a result of finally being able to use the gift cards family gives to those really specific/niche stores(MEC in this case) almost immediately hahaha!
Most fun reactions to gifts I gave this year was an aunt's recently JW obsessed 7(or 8?) year-old kid losing their absolute calm when opening up an Jurassic World Alpha Training Blue I kept, in addition to the Amber Collection Blue they wanted because his dentist keeps one in the actual office. Helped a family friend's kid get a started Switch library with that Metroid Dread, but tracked down a reasonable Figma Metroid Prime Ver. Samus Aran to go with it(and throw off the immediate guess before unwrapping); reaction lead me to finding out she's familiar with the line and Nendo's. Likely a lurker here hahaha!
Otherwise the usual of much appreciated clothing and bunches of gift cards, accidentally gave off a 'I'm struggling!' vibe when I got progressively happier, when I was opening up the gift cards to find them being mostly for grocery chains hahaha!
