Fun fact: Adrian Smith drew/painted both illustrations, about 15 years apart, and Horus's face in the older pencil picture is a portrait of William King, the author of the Gotrek and Felix and Space Wolf novels!
Smith, Karl Kopinski and Paul Dainton were my favourite 40k artists, so seeing giganto-Horus being pretty faithful is really nice. It'll never happen because they weren't made into models by GW, but in a fantasy land I'd love it if these four (or the Chosen of Abbadon, or Kthelmir from the 3.5 codex) were made into figures.
