>>6695766I had the level of technology vary in my settings due to specialization. It all was in the same time period except for Castle and Western. City had space missions going up with factions that were so good at what the did, that they had innovated technology to the level the various Space factions had. Same with Aquazone- the Aquanauts and Aquasharks were basically underwater Teslas. The free market is a wonderful thing. Divers and Launch Command were way behind and funnily enough, the government versions of the better equipped themes. The way things were in the tropical islands the pirates raided were just like that culturally with old world buildings and tall ships. Plus, I'm sure with the pirates pillaging everything that wasn't nailed down, it would have been hard to take the time for technological innovation. Sometimes I'd have tourists from City take vacations and end up with more than they bargained for with Imperial Guards having to go rescue them.
