>>10961203Yes, Kaiyodo at this time was very experimental, with lots of weird and sometimes even asymmetrical joint systems. Their DOA and DMC trading figures from around this time are another good example of this ingenuity.
I own most of Nightow's Trigun line and it was similarly very creative for the time period. I miss this era because it felt like big, creative ideas were being executed, toy joints sort of hit a plateau a while back and stopped evolving for the most part. You just don't see strange wacky joint systems anymore.
