It's called good design, these things should be appealing even if you have zero exposure to it beyond the picture on the box art. The box art for 60271 only communicates "jumbled mess of boring shit I don't care about". This Ninjago box art communicates "sick-ass jet plane". Which one do you think is going to be more appealing to shoppers?
