To add to this, it's due to the sculpting in the crotch area and the hip flaps. It can kick straight out, but not too far forward. With a slight bend (and I actually just did this with the one in front of me, and the bend is even more slight than I recall), he can kick up pretty high.

You have obviously never actually handled one of these. You read people on here complain about the hips on their figures, but more often than not they're just complaining about the lack of thigh swivel (which is built in, but the sculpting would sometimes get in the say. It doesn't nearly as much anymore and there's a good few degrees you can get out of most of them). Pick a figure. Don't tell the anon to post a pic and not do the one thing he asked you to.
