A seemingly large heap of people though do seem to just be looking to find any problem they can with the movie and blow it up to huge proportion just so they can feel outraged.
Still though, the movie has some pretty major problems.

You're full of garbage shit and should feel like it, but technically not wrong. At least Rey's job isn't to parade around in pretty clothing or to show off some skin, she actually does SOMETHING in the movie and serves a role in the plot, more of one than Leia did. Though I wouldn't say they're being more critical on her than they were on Anakin, I'd say a small portion of it is pretty much because she's a woman character, but definitely not all of it.
