I finally bought five decent MMX juggling balls, after learning my first juggling tricks with tennis balls and bouncy rubber balls that would bounce all over the place when I dropped them. In hindsight I guess I could've filled the tennis balls with salt or sand and thus created something similar to Russian-style balls, but oh well.
Bought some juggling rings too, but quickly noticed that I'll have to wait until it's warm outside again before I can practice with them. They're really loud when you drop them, and due to the edge it's easy to break stuff with them.
