>>10202608Like others have already said, the gimmick is a transforming Optimus Prime built out of Lego. It's not aiming to compete with the MP/3rd Party crowd and is more a replica of the G1 toy than anything when it comes to colors (asides from the cartoon blue eyes)? And even then it's not a 1:1 copy of the diaclone toy's transformation.
Like others said, the only real fault with this thing is the price. If it was like $120-$140 and only came with the ion blaster, energon axe, and display sign as accessories I'd have probably bought it, but $180 is a big ask for a Lego robot that doesn't even have knees.
I mean he'll, even with the outlandish price tag it's not even the worst Transformers toy from this year. I mean we just got Legacy Skullgrin and Pointblank, who both suck for completely different reasons. (Pointblank for being subjected to budget restraints, and Skullgrin for being a brick with a skull head that turns into a brick laying down.)
