I did contact Mattel and asked about the missing German sets; unfortunately all I got was a runaround from someone who probably had no idea what the actual reason was. There are a couple other CoD sets also missing from Mega's site, the Hazmat shipping container and I don't remember what else but they were more recent than the WW2 ones. I'm guessing those may be a case of simple neglect; the WW2 ones I'm not so sure, as the other contemporary sets are all there (including your pic). It may all be a nothingburger but it's fun to speculate.
