>>6462282>>6461715Well since we're all waving our dicks around, I own both as well. Except, you know, for real.
I also have the Arcade set, the Mirage Foot, the Mirage TMNT, Playmates turtles through the many years, the 18" 90s tmnt, the Sideshow statues, the Revoltech 2012 turtles, so on and so forth.
And you know what? The NECA figures are the best you can get right now. The Figurarts are fun, but they're not accurate to the cartoon as much as I want, and I don't particularly care for the die-cast legs. For the same amount of money I got far more toon accurate TMNT plus villains from NECA. If I'd know this was coming years ago? No way would I have put down for the Figuarts, easy passes. I mean, I don't even want the Shredder after comparing it to the NECA figure. Assuming it wasn't canceled outright at this point anyway, that point may be moot.
The posing options are nice on the imports, but that's about the only upper hand I can give the Figurarts. Yeah, alt-heads are nice, but I only used the expressive heads, since the serious faces suffer from major squished head syndrome. They may as well have only had the one set. That's personal opinion, but I suspect it's true of most displays.
It's a travesty we'really stuck waiting for conventions to get these figures, but I'm glad someone is trying to be dedicated to the TMNT, and not afraid to put money into it, instead of cutting paint, articulation, and pieces.
This new "potato" trolling or shitposting is stupid, too. Grow up.
