It must be new mold, use some ideas from every past Megs, mostly TR, Combiner Wars. I would say that just gut jet mode from Legacy Blitzwing, upscale and remold few parts.
This way you get gun barrel in the back, clean and good robot mode, tank kibble nicely lays flat.
