>>11215947>Lol. Is that one of those Chinese mini blind box dolls?Yeah. I steal their soft goods to use in 1/12 and use the bodies to practice painting, blushing, carving, kitbashing, etc. Cheap bodies I dont have to worry about effing up while customizing.
Currently using them to make dwarves, halflings, gnomes, and monster girls to fill in the gaps in preparation for the waves of fantasy figures on the horizon from Metytoys, Snail Shell, and the like.
Next test is to try dip dying one in green Rit Dye to try my hand at making goblins now that I know I can carve teeth somewhat like on the big headed yokai here. I recommend the ones from ICY Fortune Days because they have huge hips and accept large 1/12 scale busts with very little modification to make shortstacks.
