hey fellas this is my review of the fugitive predator figure
i'll preface this with the fact that as of right now this is my favorite predator design and i loved the movie, i saw it last night and drove about an hour or so away from my house to pick this guy up.
right off the bat, the figure looks superb and replicates the design nicely. he stands a bit weird due to one leg somehow being longer or set lower than the other, so he's gotta have one knee out a bit. i'm a bit disappointed by the lack of accessories but i'm not really sure what else they could have given him. Maybe a scratched mask, but I don't 100% remember if he ever got his original one back. Both heads are superb, however the unmasked head is probably the superior one. The removable blades in the gauntlets are probably one of the most frustrating accessories I've ever seen in a figure. They feel like they're gonna fucking snap off if I breathe on them. The interchangeable arms are a great touch, especially because of how he's only got one gauntlet for most of the movie.
Articulation feels a bit limited on this guy compared to other Predators. There's looks to be no ab crunch or anything like that, it's just on a swivel. His arms don't feel like they can go out very far due to his shoulderpads, but I'm very cautious with my NECA figures. I don't want to risk anything. The arms have me nutting in my pants. These new "Pennywise Joints", as I've dubbed them, are fucking fantastic. I love the fluidity it gives the arms. This more than makes up for my aforementioned issues in articulation.
thanks for coming for my ted talk, here's a picture of this Lad talking about big predator tiddies
